Event. High-level retreat to stress-test presidency options.
Our contribution. Convened past COP presidents, WTO chairs and senior UNFCCC officials; moderated seven design sessions covering negotiation process management.
Focus. Applying the “seven dimensions of negotiation management” to real COP pressure-points.
Participants. Core UK presidency team plus former COP leaders.
Impact. Several facilitation tactics (e.g., thematic ministerial pairs) were adopted and later credited by delegates for COP-26’s breakthroughs on Article 6 and the Glasgow Pact.
